Next in its Golden Age of Gay Activism series, the Rainbow History Project looks at issues of police infiltration, harassment, entrapment, and more in the 60s and 70s and how gay activists combatted negative police polices and practices and turned relations around. Frank Kameny, Craig Howell, Larry Kamin, and Tom Lowderbaugh will discuss the tensions of the 60s and 70s, the Gay Activists Alliance work to curb police persecution, open a dialogue with the Metropolitan Police Department, and the first GLBT training sessions for MPD. If his schedule permits, Sgt. Brett Parson will discuss the founding of MPD's Gay and Lesbian Liaison Unit as well.
