Christopher Neff Elected Secretary of the Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance

The Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance (GLAA) is pleased to announced the election of Christopher L. Neff to the position of secretary.

Mr. Neff has been involved in many GLBT causes including Log Cabin Republicans, Gertrude Stein Democrats, The Gay News Network, Reel Affirmations, and the DC Coalition. He has written op/ed pieces for the Washington Blade, worked a contributing editor to Suite 101.com and currently serves as an American political columnist for the Israeli GLBT website, www.pridepage.com. He has also a member of the Capital Area Tennis Association and a volunteer for the GLAAD media awards. He is the membership coordinator and database manager of a national gay non-profit and has also worked in the United States Senate. Christopher is a native New Englander who enjoys good debate and good chowder.

The other officers are: Bob Summersgill, President; Rick Rosendall, Political Vice President; Kevin Davis, Administrative Vice President; and Betsy Koontz, Treasurer.

The Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance of Washington, DC is the nation's oldest continually active gay and lesbian rights organization. Founded in 1971, GLAA recently celebrated its 31st anniversary.
